2005 SUMMER WECOME TO TECH PICNIC
August 12th, At East Roswell Park

A total of 65 people attended. Of these 65 guests, 16 were incoming Tech freshmen, and 39 were parents and siblings. We also had 14 North Metro Club Alumni and 9 other alumni! The high schools represented by those 16 rising freshmen included Alpharetta, Centennial, Chattahoochee, Forsyth Central, Milton, North Springs, Northview, Roswell, and Seqouyah.

19 students were expected (and a total with families of 85 guests), which is approximately an 80% rate of attendance (84% rate of attendance for students, and a 76% rate for the total # of guests). This number is similar to years past but was slightly smaller due to date/time/location constraints--we could not have the picnic on a Saturday afternoon and instead we had to have it during Friday afternoon rush-hour!
