2005 Club Scholarship Recipients
Interviews for the North Metro club scholarships were held in early March at the real estate offices on Lake Forrest Drive. We are awarding six $1,000 scholarships again this year. The Club is awarding $5,000, and the Alumni Association is providing a matching $1,000.The students have until May 1, 2005 to pay their final dues to make the awards official.
2004-2005 President's Scholarship Recipients
The President's Scholarship is the most prestigious award given by the school. Out of over 4800 applicants, 25 students from the North Metro Club area were selected as semi-finalists for the President's Scholarship this year. After the semi-finalist interviews in mid-January, 6 from the North Metro area were selected as finalists and were interviewed along with approximately 110 additional students from throughout the U.S.
The following students received $1,000 scholarships from the North Metro Georgia Tech Club:
Megan Elmore - Northview High School
Demyan Lantukh - Milton High School
Aramis Velázquez - Alpharetta High School
Joseph Kistler - Roswell High School
Adrienne Morgan Froemelt - Roswell High School
Lindsay Brandino - Milton High School
The following two students are listed as alternates, and will receive the scholarships in the event one or more of the ?rst six students does not enroll at Georgia Tech:
Johannes Liem - Chattahoochee High School
Julie Parker - Forsyth Central High School
Certificates will be given to each of these recipients.

Each of these students were awarded varying scholarship amounts renewable each of their four years at Tech contingent on maintaining a minimum gpa of 3.2
